Gateway Compassion Dartford

Our compassion projects are a central part of church life as we believe in is a fundamental part of Christianity to show God’s love to those in need.

If you are in a time of need please come to the centre during the times mentioned above, or else call the office on 01322 221 717 to see if we can offer some help in the meantime.

We have a wide range of helpers both from in and outside the church.  We are grateful to all our helpers and the many schools and organisations that offer support and donations to the ongoing projects.

If you would like to be support and part of the Gateway Compassion Projects or would like to make a donation to their running costs, please contact us.

Foodbank

We host the Dartford food bank at our compassion centre in Market Street on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.

This is open to anyone who can prove they are in a time of hardship and receiving some form of benefit.

Our helpers are available to listen to any problems you may be facing and can direct you to external organisations which may be able to help you further.

Saturday Breakfast

We host a breakfast at our compassion centre in Market Street between 8 and 10 on a Saturday morning.

This is an opportunity for people who are either homeless or in a time of hardship, or even just lonely, to enjoy a cooked breakfast in a warm and safe environment.  This is a time where people can make and meet with friends or just sit and read a newspaper.

Our helpers are available to listen to any problems you may be facing and can direct you to external organisations which may be able to help you further.

Cold Winter Shelter

During the winter months, the Gateway Compassion Centre forms part of the cold winter shelter which offers people who are homeless a warm and safe place to sleep.
